Bucket list for parents, grandparents and kids
A bucket list, you either love it or hate it immensely. I myself have wishes and dreams but not really a concrete bucket list. Fine, because that is not necessary at all.
However, when I received the book Bucket List for (grand)parents and (grand)children I got a lot of great ideas.
Bucket list for grandparents
Thousands of people keep a bucket list of things they absolutely want to have seen, done or experienced. I don’t have a list like that, I don’t even know what to ask for my birthday, let alone if I had to write such’a huge wish list.
Well, and so then I received a book titled ‘the Bucket List for (grand)parents and (grand)children’. A book of ideas, tips, challenges and inspiring stories. A book your children can use to make memories with their grandparents.
In which you can even draw up a contract.
A book full of creative ideas for completing a bucket list with your grandparents between the ages of 8 and 18. Although of course you can also start earlier and secretly go on longer.
From a grandpa to his grandchild(ren)
Rob Wegdam came up with the idea for this book when he noticed that his grandchildren nowadays gather a lot of knowledge via the internet and tablets. A beautiful medium of course but how do children experience it when they broaden their horizons in a different way? He got the idea to do something with it and encourage his grandchildren to actively discover valuable aspects of life.
That’s how his bucket list came into being.
This book is intended as a gift from (grand)parents to (grand)children. It’s much more of a do-book than a reading book, even though there are some wonderful stories in it. It’s a book full of challenges for young people ages eight to eighteen.
Challenges that can be valuable for the rest of their lives.
What we think?
My children are still quite young but I’ve already gotten some great ideas from the book. This bucket list is actually for grandparents and their grandchildren but secretly just as much fun for parents and their children. Or of course for an aunt or uncle and their nephews or nieces. Challenges range from simple challenges like; roll down a hill or pick a kilo of berries.
To city trips, vlogging and being creative.
In short, lots of ideas to implement together to make memories.
The book is also beautifully designed and gives space to add your own challenges. Besides keeping the bucket list, it’s actually a great reference for a drizzly Wednesday afternoon or a sunny Saturday. There are plenty of challenges for young and old to tackle.
Where to find the book?
The bucket list for (grand)parents and (grand)children can be found in bookstores and at Bol.com for €14.95.
Do you keep a bucket list? Would you buy this book for your (little) one? children?
